Alumni Meet - 2025

The much anticipated Alumni Meet 2025 – Reconnecting Roots, Celebrating Journeys was successfully organized on 27th December 2025 at Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Auditorium, Pune. The event, organized by the Alumni Relations Team of Dr. D. Y. Patil B-School, brought together alumni, faculty members, and current students (Batch 2025–2027), creating a meaningful platform to reconnect and celebrate shared experiences.The session commenced with a formal welcome by the faculty members, who greeted the alumni and established a positive tone for the event. Alumni were further encouraged to actively share their feedback, inputs, and suggestions, emphasizing the importance of their contribution in strengthening institutional growth and student development.

The meet witnessed enthusiastic participation from alumni across diverse sectors including banking, finance, marketing, HR, IT, consulting, and corporate domains. Alumni shared their professional journeys, expressing gratitude towards the institute for providing a strong academic foundation, industry exposure, and placement support.

A key highlight of the event was the interactive session where alumni shared valuable insights on corporate life, adaptability, leadership, and career progression. Their experiences provided current students with practical exposure to industry expectations, challenges, and growth opportunities. The discussion also focused on placement preparedness and the importance of continuous learning beyond academics.

Students actively engaged with alumni, making the session insightful and enriching. The exchange of ideas and experiences reflected the strong and evolving relationship between the institute and its alumni network.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all alumni, faculty members, and organizers for their valuable presence and contributions.

Alumni Meet - 2024

The much-awaited Alumni Meet 2024 was held on 24th December 2024 in the DPU Auditorium, reuniting former students with their alma mater. Dr. Sheetal Darekar welcomed all the alumni and the faculties and initiated the meeting by presenting the remarkable journey Dr. D. Y. Patil B-School has been made since its inception and also announced the recent achievements of Dr. D.Y. Patil B-school. Ms. Manjiri Joshi encouraged all the alumni one by one to get their input. Ms. Ankita Mall assured to assist the placement department and share her entrepreneurial journey with others and shared her experience and advised to focus on learning beyond the classrooms and acquire hands- on experience. Mr. Aditya Dey assured his contribution in guiding the students by sharing experience, taking mock GDs, and as guest sessions. Other Alumni also contributed to this connection by sharing their thoughts of contributing their viewpoints. They shared their experiences of working in different organizations and also spoke on how to maintain work-life balance. They assured active participation in such future events. The evening concluded with a vote of thanks and a gala dinner, strengthening the bond between DPU and its esteemed alumni. Their valuable contributions made the Alumni Meet 2024 a grand success, paving the way for continued collaboration and mentorship. Ms. Ishita Sil presented a vote of thanks to all the alumni, faculties, and staff.

Patil B-School successfully organized its Alumni Meet on 29th December 2023, bringing together distinguished alumni, faculty members, and students for an inspiring session of reflection, engagement, and celebration. The event served as a valuable platform to strengthen the bond between the institute and its alumni while fostering meaningful interactions with current students.

The session commenced with a warm welcome by Dr. Sheetal Darekar, who graciously greeted the alumni and highlighted the significance of maintaining lifelong connections with the institution. The gathering provided an opportunity to revisit cherished memories, celebrate achievements, and acknowledge the remarkable journeys undertaken by alumni across diverse professional domains.

Prof. Manjiri Joshi facilitated an interactive discussion, encouraging each alumnus to share their experiences, feedback, and suggestions for the continued growth and development of the institution. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation, with alumni reflecting on their professional accomplishments and expressing gratitude for the strong academic foundation and support they received during their time at Dr. D. Y. Patil B-School.

A key highlight of the event was the insightful sharing of industry experiences by the alumni. Ms. Garima Joshi extended her wholehearted support to the Placement Department and expressed her willingness to share her entrepreneurial journey with students. Drawing from her professional experiences, she emphasized the importance of gaining practical exposure beyond classroom learning and encouraged students to actively pursue experiential learning opportunities.

Adding further value to the session, Mr. Ujwal Sarathe reaffirmed his commitment to student development by offering to guide students through mock group discussions, guest lectures, and mentoring sessions. His practical insights into corporate expectations and skill enhancement underscored the importance of holistic growth and career readiness.

Several other alumni also actively contributed to the discussions, sharing their experiences from various organizations and industries. Their perspectives on career progression, workplace challenges, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance provided valuable guidance to students. Alumni also expressed their enthusiasm for continued engagement with the institution through future events, mentorship initiatives, and knowledge-sharing activities.

Dr. Sheetal Darekar welcomed all the alumni and the faculties and initiated the meeting by presenting the remarkable journey Dr. D. Y. Patil B-School has been made since its inception and also announced the recent achievements of Dr. D.Y. Patil B-school. Mr. Sankalp Dandawate encouraged all the alumni one by one to get their input. Ms. Kirttika Pradhan assured to assist the placement department and share his entrepreneurial journey with others and shared her experience with his current organization and advised to focus on learning beyond the classrooms and acquire hands- on experience. Mr. Vishwas Kothari assured his contribution in guiding the students by sharing experience, taking mock GD’s, and as guest sessions.
